LINCROFT, N.J. — The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Women's Soccer team battled through challenging heat and relentless play on Saturday, but ultimately fell 2-0 to Brookdale Community College (BCC) in a Region XV matchup.

The first half featured high-intensity action from both squads, with Brookdale CC converting two scoring opportunities to take the lead. Despite the early deficit, the Tigers tightened their defense in the second half, containing Brookdale's advances and creating several promising looks on goal. FIT's midfielders and defenders stepped up to slow Brookdale's attack, but the Tigers were unable to break through on the scoreboard.

With the setback, FIT continues to push forward in Region XV play. The Tigers return to action on Sunday, September 14, when they face Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC).
