UNIONDALE, N.Y. – The FIT Tigers Women's Soccer team battled to a 1–1 draw against Nassau Community College on Saturday evening in Region XV play.

After falling behind 1–0, the Tigers responded with composure and pressure in the second half. Rita Gonçalves delivered the equalizer to bring the match level, and FIT continued to create chances down the stretch while the back line and goalkeeping unit closed the door to preserve the result.

The draw caps a gritty road performance that showcased the Tigers' resilience and collective work rate across all lines.

FIT returns to action on Saturday, October 25, hosting Nassau CC at Kingsborough CC for a 3:00 PM kickoff. The match will serve as the program's Senior Day, honoring the Tigers' graduating student-athletes prior to kickoff.
