As a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XV member college, FIT Athletics places an emphasis on complying with all applicable NJCAA, Region XV, FIT Institutional and FIT Athletics rules and regulations. Â
NJCAA Compliance
Student-athletes must be making satisfactory progress within an approved college program or course as listed in the college catalog. Student-athletes must be enrolled and maintain full-time status - at least 12 or more hours of college work - during each term of athletic participation.
Sportsmanship
A basic principle of NJCAA athletic competition is to develop and foster respect for fellow participants, coaches, officials and spectators. FIT Athletics team members including coaches and student-athletes are very visible in the public eye frequently representing FIT, the Athletics Department and their team in classrooms, the community and at many off campus functions.  Therefore, team members are held to a high standard of conduct and are expected to represent FIT Athletics in a positive manner at all times but especially before, during, and after competitions.
