Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The FIT Tigers Women's Soccer team closed out the 2025 regular season on Saturday afternoon with a hard-fought 1–0 loss to Nassau Community College in a match filled with pride, purpose, and emotion at Kingsborough Community College.
The game carried special meaning as the Tigers celebrated Senior Day and Breast Cancer Awareness Day, honoring their graduating student-athletes for their commitment, leadership, and impact on the program.
In a tightly contested match, both sides traded chances through much of the first half before Nassau broke through with a late goal just before halftime. FIT continued to fight throughout the second half, generating quality opportunities and defending with intensity, but ultimately came up short in the one-goal decision.
Despite the loss, the Tigers' performance reflected their resilience and unity on an afternoon that celebrated both their seniors and the larger cause of awareness and support within the community.
FIT concludes the regular season as the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Region XV Women's Soccer Championship and will travel to face No. 2 seed Nassau CC again in a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, October 28.
