QUEENS, N.Y. – In the final tune-up before the 2025 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championship,
Kimiko Quayle delivered the nation's top time in the 1,500m at the Tom Farrell Classic, held at DaSilva Memorial Field.
Quayle, the defending national champion in the event, crossed the finish line first among eight competitors—including NCAA Division I athletes—with a personal-best time of 4:41.3. Her performance now stands as the fastest time in the NJCAA this season by a margin of 14 seconds.
Sofia Zampella also competed in the race, recording a new personal record of 5:26.27.
Quayle will look to defend her national title next weekend (May 8–10) at the 2025 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
