EWING, N.J. - On Saturday, April 26, the FIT Track and Field team competed at the Lions Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.

Sofia Zampella delivered a standout performance in the women's 1,500m, clocking a season-best time of 5:30.34 — surpassing the NJCAA Championship qualifying standard of 5:36.75. In the women's 400m, Gabriela Medrano recorded a time of 1:14.97. Taiwo Adekunle impressed in the women's 100m dash with a time of 13.71 seconds, while on the men's side, Kaelem Christopher ran the 100m in 11.85 seconds.

The Tigers have had a strong season so far, with just one meet remaining before heading to the NJCAA National Championships.
