Back-to-Back! FIT’s Kimiko Quayle Repeats as 1500m National Champion

RESULTS

UTICA, N.Y. –
Kimiko Quayle of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) claimed her second consecutive national title in the women's 1500-meter run at the 2025 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Mohawk Valley Community College.

Quayle crossed the finish line with a time of 4:50.16—14 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher—and narrowly missed the NJCAA DIII Championship meet record of 4:49.57 set in 2015. The win marks her second individual national title and third career All-America honor.

The 2024-25 FIT Student-Athlete of the Year capped off an extraordinary season by once again earning the title of Northeast Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year. She finishes the season holding the nation's top time in the event: 4:41.31.

With this championship victory, Quayle further cements her legacy as one of the most decorated student-athletes in FIT history.
