On Sunday, April 16th Men's Tennis earned another win against Region 15 rival Nassau CC at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY.  The team improved significantly since their last meeting with the NCC Lions two weeks prior, when the Tigers earned a closely contested 4-3 victory.

Once again, Joey McBride and Simon Ho earned victories in their 1st and 2nd singles matches respectively, and the duo also combined to win 1st doubles.  In this match, however, Freshman Woojae Kim (Jay) avenged his prior 4th singles loss with an impressive 6-3, 6-2 straight set victory.  Jay then combined forces with fellow freshman JunBeom Kim (Chris), both stepping up their level of play to earn their first 2nd doubles victory of the season, 8-4. 

The final score was 6-1 in favor of FIT and improves the team's regular season record to 2-1.  The Tigers looks to take this positive momentum into a big Region 15 rematch with Suffolk CC to take place on Friday, April 21st 3pm at Suffolk Community College in Selden, NY
