This past Saturday the men's tennis team traveled to Rockland county to play their fourth match of the season.
The Tigers couldn't have asked for better weather to play tennis in. With beautiful blue skies and sunscreen in hand, they prepped for a difficult match as RCC was rumored to be an incredibly strong team this season with new recruits from across the globe.
Short a few players, the Tigers took to the courts in high spirits determined to put up a tough fight. All four players put their heart and soul into the match performing at the top of their abilities. Although not enough to succeed Rockland,
Casey Trotta the Number 1 singles player, secured the only win for FIT.
"Everyone played at the top of their game today and never gave up determination on the court while continuing to demonstrate excellent sportsmanship. That alone made us successful today." said Coach Lynn Cabot.
After refueling at a small diner in Rockland, the Tigers look forward to the remainder of the season with the same determination and heart.
