(Suffolk, NY) FIT Tigers kicked off the first match of the tennis season with a perfect start.
This Sunday, September 21^st, the match took place at Suffolk County- against Nassau. It was a beautiful day and the tigers were all excited to start off their season with the first match.
 
Everyone did a wonderful job and FIT tigers scored a total of 8-1 against team Nassau. We won all three doubles matches. The second doubles was a close game and we had our fingers crossed. But we did manage to win the tiebreaker by 1 point. At singles, Nicole Druzhinsky, Spencer Corson and Ravina Parikh won with a 2-0. Rachel Edwards, Tyla Robinson, Emily Bennett and Tiffany were a great support too.
 
6 out of 7 team members are new comers to the team this year and Coach Lynn Cabot was very excited to see her team do such a great job.
 
The Tigers are getting ready to play the Mercer Tournament starting this Friday.
