New York, N.Y. – The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Women's Volleyball team kept its undefeated start rolling on Saturday, earning two victories in its home opener inside the FIT Gymnasium. The Tigers opened the day with a 3–1 win over Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) before sweeping The New School, 3–0, to close out the doubleheader.

In the first match, CCRI challenged FIT early, but the Tigers responded with strong net play and defensive consistency to secure the four-set win. FIT carried that momentum into the second match, dominating The New School in straight sets with aggressive serving and a balanced attack.

Sophomore Gabrielle Buencochillo set the tone defensively across both contests, making clutch digs that preserved momentum and kept the Tigers in control.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m., hosting Hostos Community College at the FIT Gymnasium.
