Box Score 2 BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The No. 14 nationally-ranked FIT Tigers Women's Volleyball team extended their perfect start to the 2025 season, improving to 10-0 overall, after sweeping Kingsborough Community College (3-0) and earning a hard-fought win over Queensborough Community College (3-1) in Saturday's Region XV tri-match.
FIT showed their depth and resilience, cruising past Kingsborough before battling through a scrappy contest against Queensborough to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
Riley Budenas made her presence felt with strong setting, clutch serving, and infectious energy in the opening match, while Beatriz Vidal powered the Tigers against Queensborough with aggressive attacking, key digs, and consistent serving. The Tigers once again proved their ability to rise to the moment as a team, highlighting their balanced and cohesive play across the board.
With Saturday's victories, FIT continues to lead the Region XV standings and remains one of the top teams in the conference.
The Tigers return to the court on Thursday, October 2, traveling to the Bronx for a Region XV matchup against Hostos Community College at 6:00 PM.
