Box Score 2 NEW YORK, NY — The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Women's Volleyball team extended its unbeaten streak with two decisive straight-set victories in a Region 15 tri-match on Saturday. The Tigers opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of Rockland Community College before closing out competition with another 3-0 win over Westchester Community College.
In the finale against Westchester, FIT displayed composure and power, taking the match 25-20, 25-23, and 25-15. The dual victories move FIT to 6-0 on the season and keep the Tigers perfect in Region 15 play.
Beatriz Vidal was a standout performer, serving with precision, passed effectively, and attacked aggressively throughout the day. Her crucial kills and clutch serves in sets two and three against Westchester were pivotal in sealing FIT's unbeaten record.
The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, September 23, traveling for a Region 15 matchup against Bronx Community College.
