Box Score BRONX, N.Y. – The FIT Tigers Women's Volleyball team continued their unbeaten run on Thursday evening, earning a 3-0 Region XV road victory over Hostos Community College to improve to 11-0 overall on the season.=
The Tigers showcased consistency and composure throughout the match, maintaining strong energy and execution from start to finish. FIT controlled the tempo with solid serving, aggressive hitting, and reliable defense to secure the sweep.
Among several standout performances, Alisa Lombardo led the charge with an impressive all-around effort—posting several key kills, including a back-row attack in the third set, while anchoring the defense and dominating at the service line.
With the win, FIT remains unbeaten atop the Region XV standings. The Tigers will return to action on Saturday, October 4, for a pair of Region XV matchups at Dutchess Community College, facing Dutchess CC at 12:00 PM and Orange CC at 1:30 PM.
