Box Score 2 NEW YORK, N.Y. – The No. 12 nationally ranked FIT Tigers Women's Volleyball team wrapped up an outstanding regular season on Saturday, earning a 3-0 sweep over No. 14 Monroe–Bronx Community College before falling in a competitive 3-1 matchup against Nassau Community College inside the FIT Gymnasium.
The Tigers opened the day with a statement win over nationally ranked Monroe–Bronx, controlling the tempo through strong serving, aggressive net play, and steady defense to secure the sweep. In the second match, FIT battled throughout four tightly contested sets against a tough Nassau squad but ultimately came up short.
With the results, FIT concludes the 2025 regular season with an impressive record and has earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Region XV Women's Volleyball Championship.
The Tigers will host No. 7 seed Queensborough Community College in the Region XV Quarterfinals on Thursday, October 30, with first serve scheduled for 7:00 PM inside the FIT Gymnasium.
