NEW YORK, N.Y. – The No. 12 nationally ranked FIT Tigers Women's Volleyball team continued its dominant run through Region XV play, improving to 15-0 overall with a pair of straight-set victories over LaGuardia Community College and Borough of Manhattan Community College on Saturday.
The Tigers remained in full control throughout the day, sweeping both matches 3-0 behind a balanced effort across the roster. FIT's consistency in serve receive, strong net presence, and disciplined team play were on full display as the team maintained its unbeaten streak.
Two standout performances highlighted the day's action:
- Mia Myers showcased excellent all-around play with powerful swings, strong passing in serve receive, and steady improvement in hand passing.
- Caroline Travers dominated at the net, contributing key blocks, powerful kills, and several aces from the service line in both matches.
With the victories, FIT continues to lead Region XV while holding firm among the top NJCAA Division III programs in the nation.
The Tigers return to action on Thursday, October 16, hosting Raritan Valley Community College at 7:00 PM inside the FIT Gymnasium.
