Kellyn Mylechreest

Dance Company Director Kellyn Mylechreest is a dancer, choreographer, and movement educator living in New York City.  She holds her M.F.A. in Choreography from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (2020) and her B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (2015).  She has had the honor to perform works by Ohad Naharin, Lar Lubovitch, Lucinda Childs, Monica Bill Barnes, and Merce Cunningham.  She’s also worked with companies such as Twyla Tharp, Linked Dance Theatre, House World, and BlueMorph Collective.  Her own choreography has been featured in Linked Dance Theatre’s “Beloved/Departed”(2018) and “Remembrance” (2019), “Noirtown”the RAVE Festival NYC (2019), and the Second Avenue Dance Company at New York University (2020). 

Kellyn is a multi-disciplinary artist with a wide range of experience in the dance world but has a strong passion to teach dance to the next generation of artists. She has taught dance both nationally and internationally, and her passion is to share her love for movement with dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Kellyn lives in Manhattan with her husband Edward and their puppy, Millie.
