Fashion Institute of Technology Athletics

Allison Holandez was born in Sleepy Hollow, New York and raised in New City, New York. She is the only daughter of Ed and Cristina Holandez and has one dog named Snowy. Allison started dancing at home Freshman year in high school from being inspired by kpop. She has never taken a formal hip-hop class before, however that never stopped her love for dance. Starting in Sophomore year, through the urge of friends, she joined the Albertus Magnus Drama Department and starred in her first play, "Beauty and the Beast". She absolutely loved that experience and continued to join the Albertus Drama Department until she graduated, performing in the shows "Damn Yankees" and "Footloose". Although she has faced some trials and tribulations, she never stops dancing wherever she goes and would love to show what she's got at FIT's Dance Company. She is completely ecstatic and honored to be a part of this team, especially since it has been something she has been wanting to do for years. She would like to thank her friends and family for the overwhelming support and hopes they enjoy the performances!
