FIT Women's Soccer Battles Nassau to Scoreless Draw

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Fashion Institute of Technology women's soccer team battled Nassau Community College to a scoreless draw on Saturday afternoon at Mitchel Athletic Complex, earning its first tie of the 2026 season.

In a tightly contested NJCAA Region 15 matchup, neither team was able to break through offensively, as the Tigers held Nassau off the scoreboard to secure their second shutout of the season.

The result moved FIT to 2-4-1 overall, marking another solid defensive performance for the Tigers, who previously blanked Kingsborough Community College, 8-0, on October 3.

Saturday's draw also marked FIT's second shutout in its last three contests as the Tigers continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

UP NEXT: FIT returns to action on Saturday, October 17, when the Tigers host Word of Life Bible Institute for Senior Day and the FIT Cup. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Kingsborough Community College Soccer Field in Brooklyn, N.Y.
