Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Women's Soccer team captured its first victory of the 2025 campaign in dominant fashion, blanking Region XV foe Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), 8–0, on Sunday afternoon at Kingsborough Community College.
FIT came out firing in the first half, setting the tone with relentless offensive pressure and precise finishing. Scout Vitko and Summer Guderian each found the back of the net early, while Abby Rufino delivered two clinical goals before halftime to give the Tigers a commanding lead.
The Tigers didn't let up after the break. Lydia Tung and Antonia Renzi added to the score sheet, and Ciara Fajardo sealed the emphatic win with two second-half strikes. FIT's defense, meanwhile, remained organized and disciplined, keeping BMCC's chances to a minimum despite the intense heat.
With the win, FIT moves to 1–4 on the season and looks to carry this momentum into their upcoming match against The New School.
