Sunday, September 30th, the FIT Tigers battled against the Nassau Community College Lions. The game was intense and the Tigers never gave up. The Tigers held possession for majority of the first half, and had the lead at half time. Gigi L'Insalata scored the first goal off of a penalty kick. The Lions came out ready to answer back in the second half and took the lead 3-1. With seconds left in the second half there was another penalty kick for the Tigers. Gigi L'Insalata finished yet another beautiful goal. After fighting a hard 90 minutes the Tigers fell to the Lions 3-2. The Tigers will take this game as a learning experience and come out ready to take on their next competitors this Sunday.
