Box Score Poughkeepsie, New York - - Lauren Aloia and Lauren Regan both clinched first half goals to give Duchess Community College a 2-1 victory over The Tigers of Fashion Institute of Technology. Lauren Aloia found the back of the net with a shot from in side of the box while Lauren Regan scored off of a penalty kick. The Tigers put up a strong showing in their first contest of the 2017 campaign. Freshmen defender Isabel Rodela put FIT on the scoreboard by driving home a penalty kick in the second half but came up just short.

FIT returns to action next weekend as the Tigers face Nassau Community College away in Garden City, New York at 4:00pm on Saturday 9/9 and Duchess Community College in a home match played at Kingsborough Community College at 1:00pm on Sunday 9/10.
