(Brooklyn, NY) Perfect weather conditions met the Tigers today at their home field as they faced the out-of-region Bobcats of Bryant and Stratton. This marks the first time these teams have faced each other and both teams were eager to start the game.
Â
The Tigers created opportunities early in the match and continued to maintain possession on the offense. In less than 15 minutes of play, the Tigers made it on the scoreboard with a great offensive play from midfielder
Emily Laroe. The Bobcats were not slow to react and began to press forward to create chances themselves, resulting in an equalizer to end the half 1-1.
