Women's Soccer Brittany Harris

3 is a Lucky Number for the Women's Soccer Team

(Cumberland, NJ) The women's soccer team was on the road again, this time at Cumberland County College to take on the navy blue and gold Dukes.  The Tigers left the match after blanking their opponent 3-0 for their third consecutive 3-0 shutout to open the season.  The Tigers are also 3-0 on the young season.

Katie Snyder scored twice in the first half, which proved to be the only goals recorded in the opening 45 minutes.  Her two goals brought her total to 3 on the season.

Keeping true to the number 3, Brittany Sheeran tallied her third goal of the season, assisted nicely by Briana Marquit.  Similar to the previous game, the Tigers maintained possession of the ball for the majority of the game.  The defense was particularly strong during the game and a major contributor the the team's success.

In goal, Katelyn Snow played 70 minutes and made two amazing saves.  Hayley Reid played the other 20 in net, also stopping two shots.

Coach Bevivino commented, "An Amazing effort today and the girls performed extremely well, pushing our record to 3-0."
