Coach Melinda is excited to join the 2014 F.I.T. women's volleyball team and she will be assisting Coach Levent. She is looking forward to working with the new players and returns for this up coming season.
Melinda graduated from Baruch college with a B.A. in psychology. She has coached both travel and local club teams. In addition, she helped the Baruch women's volleyball team win two CUNYAC tournament titles.
Assistant Coach Melinda played for the Baruch College volleyball team for four years (2009-2013). In her first year she was there she received rookie of the year. The next three years she was on the CUNYAC first team all stars. Melinda was named the CUNYAC tournament M.V.P. in her junior year. In addition, she was the captain of her team for the 2012 and 2013 season. In her senior year she was awarded M.V.P. for her team.Â
