Coach Guzman comes to FIT bringing seven years of volleyball coaching experience at the high school, college and club levels. Coach Guzman's coaching career started at Midwood HS from which he is an alumni. He served as an assistant coach for five years at Midwood working for the both the boys and girls team under head coach Tomasina Lynnsie from which he learned a wealth of volleyball knowledge. Next, he became assistant women's volleyball coach of the regional rival BMCC Panther team, and after three years took over the head coaching role for a season.
Coach Guzman then took over as head coach at Legacy Volleyball leading his team to take Bronze last season in the Boston Mazuno Invitational. Coach Guzman lives in Brooklyn, NY and works for Local 79 Laborers Union in addition to coaching with FIT.
