Coach Hatem Gabr spent his childhood and early years between three different continents. He was born in Kuwait, and then grew up splitting time between Egypt and Kuwait before moving to the United States. These experiences allowed Coach Hatem to understand, play and live different styles of soccer and different schools of thought on the game he always loved.
Educationally, Coach Hatem became one of the first ten coaches in the USA to earn a soccer specific master’s degree, a Master's Degree in Recreation & Sport Science with a specialization in soccer, from Ohio University. However, he didn’t stop there. He remains a student of the game constantly working to improve his knowledge base and professional network by participating in clinics, classes and workshops.
Coach Hatem is licensed by both the United States Soccer Federation and United Soccer Coaches. In addition to an impressive educational background, Coach Hatem also brings a wide variety of coaching experience with club level, travel teams, middle schools, high schools, college and camps during which time he coached some of the top teams in NYC including The Dalton School, Avenues The World School, The United Nations International School, Manhattan Soccer Club, Real Madrid USA summer camp, Inter Milan USA summer camp to name a few.
