David Hildebrand was born and raised in Philadelphia where he swam for the legendary coach Jim Ellis and the storied PDR swim team. In 2003, after four years of Division-I competition and a host of athletic and academic accolades, Hildebrand graduated with a B.A. in Religion from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
A long-time instructor of the sport, Hildebrand has taught countless children and adults to swim, and has coached age-group, collegiate, and masters-level athletes. He currently competes with, and coaches for, Team New York Aquatics, and is an instructor at Imagine Swimming.
Off the deck, Hildebrand is an author and a model. His first novel, Walking Marina, is an exposé of the male modeling industry in New York, and a commentary on beauty.
Hildebrand is looking for dedicated swimmers who are eager to train hard, have fun, and excel.
