Fashion Institute of Technology Athletics

Alexa started swimming year-round for Excel Swim Club when she was nine years old and swam with the team through her senior year of high school.  She also swam for Nathan Hale High School, earning a varsity letter each year, and was elected captain for her senior season.  Last year, during her freshman campaign at FIT, she competed in the 400 IM, 500 free, 1000 free, and 1650 free at Nationals, as well as the school record-breaking 800 free relay that earned NJCAA All-American honors. Besides swimming, Alexa is passionate about sustainability and of course fashion!  Alexa’s dream is to become a buyer at Nordstrom’s flagship store in Seattle.
