Biography
Susan Everett grew up in Brookhaven, PA and began dancing at the Paul Klocke Studio of Dance in Aston, PA at age 4. In her early years of dancing she also studied ballet at The Academy of the Dance in Wilmington, DE, under Victor Wesley, and performed various roles in the Nutcracker at the Dupont Playhouse. Â At Paul Klocke she studied various styles of dance including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip-hop. Â Susan also participated in the Paul Klocke Performing Group from fifth grade until her senior year of high school, competing numbers in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary modern, and attending dance conventions including Dance Excellence in California. Â At her high school Padua Academy, and their brother school Salesianum, Susan performed in the musicals Beauty and the Beast, Footloose, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with featured dance roles and as Dance Captain. She also played Cha-Cha DiGregorio in Grease. Â Susan is grateful for all of her dance teachers and directors who have encouraged her and taught her so much. Â Susan looks forward to her dance journey continuing at FIT on the dance company this year!
