Carlita Victoria is a NYC-based, North Carolina native and a UNC Greensboro graduate, majoring in Fine Arts specializing in Dance Performance & Choreography. Carlita takes over the FIT Dance Company with a wealth of knowledge and experience in dance and performing arts. Some of Carlita's favorite credits include the following national tours: RESPECT, CHUCK DAVIS & THE AFRICAN AMERICAN DANCE ENSEMBLE. Locally, right here in New York, Carlita has credits for GLEE PROJECT PROMO featuring Darren Criss (Lead Singer), and THE COLOR PURPLE (Nettie) at WPPAC. Regionally, Carlita has earned credits for DREAMGIRLS (Lorrell Robinson and Stepp Sister] at Riverside Dinner Theatre and Ivoryton Theatre, ROCK OF AGES (Justice) at Actor's Theatre of Charlotte, THE WIZARD OF OZ (Munchkin/Coroner) at Fireside Theatre, HAIRSPRAY (Little Inez, Dynamite, and Lorraine) at Tuacahn Center for the Arts, NC Theatre, Paramount Theatre and La Comedia, DISNEY’S ALADDIN (Ensemble) at Tuacahn Center for the Arts, LUCKY STIFF [Dominique] and CHICAGO [Squish] at Greenbrier Valley Theatre. Internationally, Carlita has appeared in MADAGASCAR LIVE CHINA TOUR, CIRCUS CONELLI OF SWITZERLAND [Gospel Singer], PAS JAZZ CO. OF SEOUL, DZANONMO DANCE CO. OF GHANA. Carlita has also made several film/tv appearances and has earned credit for DR. OZ, APPLE, AARP, and LIVE PERSON. Catrlita is the creator of comedy shorts featured on FUNNY OR DIE and YouTube.com/c/CarlitaVictoria. Carlita also brings over seven years of experience teaching dance at Notes in Motion and two years of experience performing for the Amnda Sellwyn Dance Company. Carlita also leads a Dance Teaching Tour each year, featuring Master Classes in Safety Release Technique, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre Dance and more.
