The first match of the day featured a 3-1 win over the Monroe Express this past Saturday. The Tigers brought the thunder from the service line recording 28 aces in the 4-set match.  Ace leaders of the match were Laura Hansroul and Madison Nguyen who each recorded 7 while Xheni Doci added 5 more.  After dropping the second set, the Tigers coasted to a commanding 25-9 victory in the third set but had to battle in both sets one and four for the hard earned victory. 

For the second match of the day, The Tigers were again triumphant beating regional rival Nassau Lions with an impressive 3-0 victory. Leading the way for the Tigers in kills and hitting percentage were Kyleigh Nethery, Amber Diaz, and Madison Nguyen.  Xheni Doci also turned in an impressive 22 assists in the 3-set match and Kristina Kwitzer came up big with 11 digs in the victory. 

This weekend's wins bring the team even closer to the Region XV Quarterfinals on October 21st. So far this season the Tigers lead the NJCAA DIII in aces per set with 4.5 and have collectively recorded 135 aces good enough to place in the top 25 in the country for this stat category.  The team has also made  213 kills, and 187 assists on the season.
