The Tigers traveled to Rockland Community College on Saturday for two league matches against Westchester CC and Rockland CC. In their first match against Westchester, the Tigers were victorious after four sets. They fell just short of winning the first set, losing 25-27, but quickly bounced back and won the next three 26-24, 25-22, and 25-13. Freshman Stephanie Berdon logged a triple double with 10 digs, 14 kills, and 18 assists. Freshman Megan Kelly and Sophomore Paige Truncale also helped lead the team and both logged double doubles.
The next match for the Tigers was even more of a battle. Rockland CC protected their home court and won the match 3-2 (27-25, 20-25, 25-22, 19-25, and 15-7).
Although they did not win, the Tigers fought hard and played aggressive, tallying a total of 12 team aces. Berdon recorded her second triple double of the day, and Truncale recorded her second double double. Kelly had a team high of 27 assists, and Vanessa Jacobs had a team high of 18 digs.
