Tigers drop match to Raritan Valley 3-0
The Tigers traveled to Raritan Valley Community College on Monday. FIT came ready to play, starting off the first set with a major lead. Comfortable with their lead, the Tigers slowly let Raritan Valley back in. Finding themselves tied up at 20-20, Raritan delivered some major kills, taking the first set 25-20. With momentum going into the second set, Raritan came out swinging or of the middle. Multiple overpasses by the Tigers gave Raritan the perfect opportunity to play aggressive at the net. Raritan took the second set 25-20. Going into the third set, neither teams were ready to give up. The Tigers fought for every point, staying neck and neck the entire time. Unfortunately, Raritan found themselves victorious in the end, finishing the set 27-25 and winning the match 3-0.Â
FIT leaders of the match are as follows:
Megan Kelly with 5 kills,
Stephanie Berdon with 9 assists,
