Torres joined FIT Athletics in 2024 after an impactful role as the Assistant Director for Media Relations at the CUNY Athletic Conference. He brings a wealth of experience in sports communications, having previously served as the Sports Information Director at Sarah Lawrence College, where he managed all communication efforts for the college's 15 varsity programs.

Before Sarah Lawrence, Torres worked at Division I Bucknell University as the primary media contact for multiple sports, including soccer, cross country, track and field, water polo, and baseball. In this role, he produced video content and designed visuals for the athletic website and social media. 

Torres began his career as a graduate assistant at Saint Peter’s University, where he gained hands-on experience in sports media while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications. He served as the primary media contact for various teams and was instrumental in online streaming for intercollegiate events.

Torres earned a Master’s Degree in 2015 from Saint Peter's University, while receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in broadcast journalism from Quinnipiac University in 2013.
