Maria is joining the FIT Tigers team for one year from West Lafayette, Indiana. Maria is a junior participating in the One Year Associate’s Degree Program for Fashion Merchandise Management. At Purdue, Maria studies Apparel Design and Technology and plans to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in May 2015. Maria also runs Track and Cross Country for the Boilermakers. During her sophomore year she was awarded Academic All Big Ten and earned her first Varsity Letter. Maria has been running ever since she can remember, as both of her parents were All-Americans and she grew up around the track. She is excited to help grow and work with the Tigers Cross Country and Track Teams while she spends a year perusing her dreams in the Big Apple.
